Step inside the Villain’s Lair for a theatrical experience where the baddies take center stage! Inspired by the larger-than-life villains of beloved fairy tales and animated classics, this camp invites kindergarten through 3rd grade performers to explore their devilish side through acting, movement, music, storytelling, and the unstoppable magic of imagination. Throughout the week, campers will create their own villainous character, participate in theatre games, learn performance skills, build confidence, and create a wicked good story with other villains. No previous theater experience is required, just bring your imagination, your biggest villainous grin, and a little bit of mischief! The week will culminate with a showcase for friends and family on Friday at 2:30.
Enter the Villain’s Lair, where actors will explore some of the most memorable villains from literature, fairy tales, animated classics, and beyond.Through acting, character work, improvisation, movement, theater games, and scene work, campers will experiment with villainous voices, physicality, motivations, and personalities. They’ll dive into the question every great villain must answer: What do they want and what are they willing to do to get it? Campers will create their own dastardly characters, take on iconic villains, develop original scenes, and collaborate with fellow performers to bring their very own Villain’s Lair to life. The week will culminate with a showcase for friends and family on Friday at 2:30.
