Synopsis:
A star high school basketball player faces the most important tournament for her school and possibly the beginning of a promising professional career, but the dates coinciding with Ramadan makes it challenging for a person who already questions her faith, involving also her relationship with her mother, boyfriend, and everyone -and everything- in the way to her success.

Cast:
KHADY [pronounced “Katie”] — A 21-year-old Middle Eastern American woman. A college senior. A point guard on her school’s Division 1 basketball team.

GABE — A 20-year-old Black man. A college junior. A forward on his school’s Division 1 basketball team.
COACH — A Black woman in her 40s. The Coach of Khady’s basketball team and a former player herself.
SUZAN [pronounced “Suzanne”] — A Middle Eastern woman in her late 40s. Khady’s mother. Born in Egypt, she speaks with an accent.
