Dungeons & Drama:
Castle Rats
@ GLM
April 25, 2026
7:30 pm
Dungeons & Drama is a live theatrical experience that fuses the imaginative gameplay of "Dungeons & Dragons" with improvised performance. Four players control four heroic avatars, guided by a Game Master who shapes the unfolding narrative in real time. As the story emerges through dice rolls & player choices, a cast of improv actors brings the world to life - embodying non-player characters, creatures, and pivotal figures within the adventure. Fully staged with professional lighting, sound design, and theatrical events, Dungeons & Drama transforms tabletop roleplaying into an immersive, audience-facing spectacle. Audience members are invited to participate in select moments, influencing the direction of the story and deepening their connection to the performance. Each show is entirely unique, blending fantasy, comedy, drama, and chance into a collaborative storytelling event that exists only in that moment.

Untamed
@ GLM
April 30 - May 9, 2026
7:30 pm
99 plays ranging from 30 seconds to over five minutes in length performed over two three-night blocks, chosen at random by the audience in the moment, and all fueled by an absurdist, high-energy spirit. This is ‘Untamed,’ the sporadically occuring collaborative artistic endeavor created by the late Bud Perry, who drew inspiration from the likes of The Neo-Futurists and other similar collectives. Consisting of a blend of sketch comedy, serious scenes, and personal monologues, the plays are all written by the performers themelves and presented a la carte for your enjoyment. ‘Untamed’ guarantees a truly unique experience for each performance, with just 33 of the 99 plays being picked each show, and never seen again. Its like ‘SNL’ meets all-you-can-eat sushi— only funnier and with slightly less likelihood of food poisoning. ‘Untamed.’ Hope you’re hungry.

The Pack that Walked Like a Man
Chautauqua with David Woodruff
@ RLT
June 6, 2026
2:00 pm
$15/person
Few figures stand as deeply rooted in the Sierra Nevada as Norman Clyde. Outside the mountaineering world he is little known, yet among those who walk the high country, his name carries the weight of legend. Writer, wilderness photographer, self‑taught naturalist, and master climber, Clyde recorded more than 130 first ascents across the Sierra and the West. For over sixty years he moved through the Range of Light with his iconic 80‑pound pack, answering more than a hundred search‑and‑rescue calls with quiet resolve and unwavering devotion to the mountains he considered home. Local historian and author David Woodruff honors this remarkable life in a thoughtful, entertaining, and amusing 75‑minute Chautauqua performance, bringing forward the spirit of a man whose footsteps still echo across the granite peaks.
