Meet Our Team

Executive Director

Melissa Taylor
(she/they)

Melissa has been a lover of the theater for as long as she can remember. Her earliest and most cherished memories revolve around the time she's spent watching or creating shows and now she's living her dream of producing engaging theatrical experiences full-time. With RLT since 2013, Melissa is originally from NJ where she spent over a decade working in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa as the Box Office and Showroom Supervisor. She managed FOH operations and ticketing for hundreds of acts like The Rolling Stones, Jerry Seinfeld, Janet Jackson, Billy Joel, and many more. Melissa holds a BA in Theater Performance from Stockton University, an MA in Arts Administration from Rowan University, and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Culture Strategy through the University of Pennsylvania and National Arts Strategies. In 2017, she was recognized as a top 40 finalist for Reno-Tahoe YPN's 20 Under 40. In 2018, she was recognized as a "Woman of Achievement" by Nevada Women's Fund.  She's passionate about creative and meaningful community partnerships and as such, Melissa has previously served on the boards of Silver State Storytellers and the David J. Drakulich Art Foundation. In addition to her roles a an administrator, Melissa regularly directs and occasionally makes her way to the stage. Favorite directing credits include The Spongebob Musical, The Laramie Project; Murder on the Orient Express; ; RedCalendar Girls; and Peter and the Starcatcher. Some of her favorite onstage roles include Susan ([title of show]); Cathy (The Last Five Years); The Baker's Wife (Into the Woods); and Lucy (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown). Outside of the theater, Melissa enjoys puzzles, black licorice, good music, and spending time with her sweet family.

Community Engagement Manager

Eric Boudreau
(he/him)

Eric Boudreau is an actor, singer, and teaching artist originally from Port Angeles, Washington. After studying musical theatre at the University of Nevada-Reno and Mesa Community College, he worked as an actor and teaching artist for Arizona's internationally renowned TYA company,
Childsplay. As an actor for Childsplay, Eric was involved in two national tours, three regional tours, workshop readings, in-house productions, a world premiere, and an original cast recording. He was also a teaching artist for their Summer Academy and Conservatory programs, teaching students ages 3-15. Other companies Eric has taught and/or directed for include Rising Youth Theatre, Chandler Center for the Arts, East Valley Children's Theatre, and the MCC Magic of Musical Theatre Workshop. Other notable acting experiences for Eric include roles at Phoenix Theatre, Stray Cat Theatre, Nearly Naked Theatre, The Cookie Company, and Scorpius Dance Theatre. For RLT, Eric has been involved as a teaching artist for various camps, was the Stage Manager for A Murder of Crows, and directed Footloose: Youth Edition.

Education Coordinator

La Ronda Etheridge
(she/they)

La Ronda (aka Miss La la) has been an actor, director, and choreographer in Northern Nevada for over 22 years. She studied theatre at the University of Oregon and dance and fitness in Arizona. She began teaching creative movement and dance for children with Teddy Bear Dancers in 2004. She then went on to teach theatre for children with Arts for All Nevada, Sierra Arts Foundation, and The Loft Dance Theater Arts. La Ronda has been the Education Coordinator for RLT since 2018. When she isn’t playing theater games with your kiddos, La Ronda enjoys spending time with her own 2 kids that are not really kids anymore.

Executive Assistant

Libby Bakke
(she/they)

Libby Bakke was born and raised in Las Vegas and has been a proud member of Reno’s arts community for nearly 15 years. She made her local debut with Reno Little Theater in 2012 and has since performed, directed, and written original works for stages across Northern Nevada. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, she holds a BA in English Literature with a minor in Women’s Studies and brings nearly a decade of high-level administrative experience—including roles as an administrative manager and executive assistant in the public sector. Libby’s theatrical journey has included collaborations with Reno Little Theater, Brüka Theatre, and Good Luck Macbeth. Favorite acting credits include Our Town, Murder on the Orient Express, and Dial M for Murder, while favorite directing projects include The Moors, The Revolutionists, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some), and the original sketch comedy show The ABC Show. Outside of work and theatre, Libby can be found having long conversations with her cats, trying to play the banjo as well as Steve Martin, and performing with her improv troupe Crocodile Nixon, which holds monthly shows at RLT!

Program Coordinator, New Works

Sandra Neace
(she/her)

Sandra Brunell Neace (Writer/Actor/Director) received her B.A. in Theater from The University of California at Riverside and her M.F.A., in acting, from The Actor's Studio Drama School in New York. While in New York Sandra performed in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at The Actors Studio. In November of 2023, Sandra received her MFA in Creative Writing, with an emphasis on Playwriting, from Spalding University. Sandra’s play The Medea Project, originally commissioned, and produced by Bruka Theatre in 2011, was accepted into the 2012 NYC International Fringe Festival. In September of 2013 Sandra’s original play, Parly Girl, performed
at the San Francisco Fringe Festival. Sandra worked with VSA, Bruka Theatre and The Kennedy Center, in 2014, on The Playwright Discovery Program. Sandra is an advocate of social theater and is known in our community for both writing and directing plays of social relevance. In
August of 2017 she directed The Mountaintop, by Katori Hall, at Good Luck Macbeth Theater. Her original plays, Malvolio or What You Will… A Transgender Story, was produced by Bruka Theatre in 2016 and A Taco Truck on Every Corner… Or Dreaming in English was produced by
Reno Little Theater in October of 2017. A Taco Truck on Every Corner... Or Dreaming in English was performed on the festival circuit internationally at The Prague Fringe Festival in May of 2018. Neace directed Monessen Falls and The Colony at Good Luck Macbeth as part of The New Works Initiative. Sandra is currently Co-Director of GLM’s New Works Initiative and an Assistant Teaching Professor at UNR.
