Volunteering with Reno Little Theater
During our 72 years, Reno Little Theater has staged over 2,400 performances of more than
450 shows. We have performed throughout the state of Nevada,
as far south as Tonopah and as far east as Elko. We estimate that more than 6,000 different people have helped at
Reno Little Theater, averaging 90 hours per show per volunteer (that’s over 540,000 hours!). It is
our family of volunteers that keeps the organization running smoothly. They greet theater patrons as ushers and box office personnel, mail
newsletters, work on publicity and fund-raising events, build the scenery, costumes, and props, and operate the light and sound boards, among many other tasks both pleasant and dull. All of our actors, actresses, stage crews, and directors are volunteers. Everyone, taken singly and collectively, are pearls beyond price.
As we look forward to our 73rd year, we will continue to perform shows that our audiences enjoy. We hope that our volunteers will continue to enjoy the time they spend assisting us. If you would like to join us and learn about theater or contribute your existing expertise, please do. You can reach us by visiting our

Thanks!
