RLT Building Exterior

Reno Little Theater has opened the doors to the new million-dollar facility at 147 E. Pueblo St., which will  serve as a permanent home.

As RLT expands, so must the physical space that supports its diverse programs. Today, the Theater has the opportunity to build a new home to showcase its high quality performances, and serve as the hub of activity for the educational, artistic, and outreach efforts that are crucial to the Theater’s mission. The new building, located in the Wells Avenue corridor, provides an unparalleled opportunity for the Theater to take the next critical step in its evolution as a premier Reno arts institution.

Reno Little Theater’s construction project is a natural and necessary step in the growth of our remarkable organization. This fundraising campaign allows RLT to match the quality of its facility with the quality of its productions. The new RLT home will become a cultural jewel that Northern Nevada can point to with pride. The Reno Little Theater Board of Directors has committed more than sixty percent (60%) of the construction cost and has created a fundraising drive to complete the project with the community’s leadership and involvement.

The completed 7200 sq. ft. building will include:

  • Black box theater, seating 99 patrons
  • Space for classes and rehearsals
  • Scene shop and storage area
  • Full dressing rooms
  • Costume shop and storage area
  • Lobby with box office, concessions, available for receptions
  • Art gallery and member’s lounge
  • Accessible restrooms and seating
  • Equipped for community meetings and special events
