Status:

Our dream of creating a new home for the Reno Little Theater is moving closer to reality! We have architectural plans, construction permits, and construction has started!

The new theater will be on Pueblo Street, between Wells Avenue and Virginia Street. It is an attractive location with many nearby amenities, such as parking and restaurants. While the facility will allow for a variety of performance styles, the true value will be found in the high quality of productions, education programs, and community outreach.

There have been some minor changes to the floor plan, shown here. The performance area will be a "black box". We will be able to arrange the seats for conventional proscenium plays, theater-in-the-round, thrust, and other configurations (examples).

The board has developed a fundraising strategy which invites community participation to completely fund the $1 million facility. Those interested in learning more about the project to create a new home for the Reno Little Theater are encouraged to contact us.
