Graphic by Andrew Mowers

Two long-estranged brothers, one a successful doctor, the other a cop, meet in the attic of their old home to sort through their family's possessions. With the cop's wife and a strange, old furniture appraiser acting as catalysts, the brothers are forced to confront each other and sort through, not just the furniture, but also the flotsam and jetsam of their lives. As they do, they discover hidden secrets that shaped their lives and choices.  This is Miller at his best, offering a powerful examination of  how we make the choices in our lives, and the price we must bear for each one.
