Paul C. Dancer (Hal) is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts. Paul has acted in movies such as Armed and Dangerous, Raging Bull and The Boys Next Door. He has done stand-up during his years in L.A. (he opened for one of the very few Spinal Tap shows), and has had many different local TV (Zomboo's House of Horror Movies comes to mind) and radio shows around the country. Paul has done many mystery dinners with Fun Time Theatre, and is currently a member of the Tahoe Improv Players. Paul has tried to hold down regular office jobs but he was just too wacky or weird, as most of his supervisors have said.
Kristen Davis-Coelho (Catherine) first caught "the bug" in the 6th Grade, when she played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She's been involved with Reno Little Theater since she moved to Nevada five years ago. Kristen is a two-time Blythe Award winner for her roles in Jake's Women and Lost in Yonkers. Most recently, she performed in The Golden Age at Reno Little Theater, and The Laramie Project with Nevada Repertory Company. By day, Kristen enjoys her roles as a psychologist, wife to Bob and pet-mommy to Checkers and Moo-Moo.
Michael Peters (Understudy Robert) is in his eighth season with Reno Little Theater. His previous Reno Little Theater appearances include The Lion in Winter, A Thurber Carnival, Jake’s Women, and as the blanket-toting Linus in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Last season he made his directorial debut with The Importance of Being Earnest. He is delighted by this opportunity to participate in Reno Little Theater’s outstanding collaboration with Hug High School’s theater department. By day, James, Sean, and Katie’s Dad is an administrator in the Graduate School at UNR.
Susan Snook (Claire) is making her Reno Little Theater debut in Proof. Her last stage appearance was as the Raven in Gothic North Theater’s The Robber Bridegroom. Susan enjoys making jewelry, and can often be found displaying it in booths and on her person at events hosted by the Society for Creative Anachronism. She is an accomplished belly dancer, is devoted to her VW Bug, “Ladyfox”, and is currently available for parties, weddings, bar mitzvahs and an occasional evening out—when she’s not at these performances, of course.
David Zybert (Robert) has had many roles in his long acting career, but none quite as compelling as Robert in Proof. The edge of sanity is one thing, but going over that edge can be disturbing. He would like to thank Julie Robertson for giving him this role. Julie, thanks for believing in me one more time. I'd like to think I do it justice. Kristen and Susan really have become like daughters to me, and Paul has been a pleasure to perform with.
