Cast

Ricco Fajardo is a college student whose thirst for the dramatic arts has drawn him to this production. Ricco moved to Reno from San Jose to finish high school and to pursue a writing career, but acquired a passion for the theater. He has appeared in Exploding Love, Rumors, Gaslight, Rossums Universal Robots, and the Shakespeare Festival '01.

Sue Higley is appearing in her fourth Reno Little Theater production. Her previous roles included Karen in Jake's Women. She also played Bea in Gothic North's production of Other Peoples' Money. By day, she is a mild-mannered office manager for Fall Line Corporation. She has a wonderful husband Mel, two children, and three "perfect" grandchildren.

Patrick Hughes has appeared in several Reno Little Theater productions, including The Living Tour in Virginia City, last summer, and as Inspector Mirabelle in Death in England this season. In prior seasons, Pat has also served as a member of the Reno Little Theater Board, as a director, and has assisted with the construction of many sets.

Matthew Mahan performed and trained in St. Louis, London, and Sacramento. His favorite roles include Dr. Trives (Elephant Man), First Voice (Under Milkwood), and Dr. Dysart (Equus). Equus was selected as an ACTF Finalist and, in 1999, performed at the Humboldt State University in Eureka. This is Matthew's third role for Reno Little Theater. He also serves on the Reno Little Theater Board of Directors.

Editor's Note: Matthew was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident on March 24, 2002, shortly after the matinee performance that day. He will be missed by his Reno Little Theater friends.

Leo McBride is the Fine Arts Department Chair and teaches drama at McQueen High School. Leo was last seen in the Reno Little Theater production of Who's on First? His other credits include the role of Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner and Matthew Harrison Brady in Inherit the Wind. Leo and his wife Nancy have been married 25 years. His greatest recent accomplishment was achieving National Board Certification.

Chris Miller has performed in community theater production in the Tahoe, Truckee, and Reno communities for fifteen years. She appeared in Reno Little Theater's production of Love Letters and, most recently, was M'Lynn in Gothic North's Steel Magnolias. In real life, Chris lives in Truckee, where she teaches parenting classes. She has two wonderful sons, whom she thanks for their support.

Leslie Newcomb was recently seen with AVA Ballet, performing "Mother Ginger" in The Nutcracker. She performs with Laughing Room Only, a local improvisational comedy group, and teaches children's theater with VSA-Nevada and her own children's production company.

Chris Rutski is appearing in his first Reno Little Theater production. He previously performed as young George in the Riverside Theater's production of It's A Wonderful Life. Chris is in 6th grade at Hidden Valley Elementary School. In his free time, he likes to hang out with his brother John.

Larry Seymour arrived in Reno in 1994, after a 20-year career in theater in Texas. In addition to acting, Larry has both designed and built productions. A carpenter and painter by trade, he enjoys being a single dad to his incredible sons, Matthew and Daniel.

Tyler Stewart Smith, a native Nevadan, is enjoying her first year as a Drama and English teacher at Wooster High School. Her first Reno Little Theater performance was in We've Always Lived in the Castle and her latest role was as Millie in California Suite. Tyler has also performed in the Great Basin Chautauqua, playing the role of French author George Sand.

Director

Tony DeGeiso started his acting career in 1981 as a singing waiter. He received training in acting and directing from the Manteca Community Theatre and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. A familiar name to Reno theater-goers, Tony has directed more than 20 plays and performed in at least as many during his eight years in Reno. He is also an accomplished musician. Tony is employed as a sales planning manager for SBC Nevada Bell.
