Michael Peters, now in his seventh season with the Reno theater community, was last seen in Reno Little Theater's re-enactment of the 1941 radio broadcast of Norman Corwin's We Hold These Truths, a Celebration of the Bill of Rights. He's appeared in over a dozen productions at Reno Little Theater, Brüka Theatre, and Gothic North Theatre, in addition to mystery dinner theater. His favorite role (prior to Henry II) was as the lovable curmudgeon Weller Martin in Gothic North's The Gin Game last year, also directed by Diane Nichols. By day, James, Sean, and Katie's dad is an administrator in the graduate school at UNR.
Patt Fiscus brings with her many years of experience in professional, college, and community theater, having performed in over 100 productions. Patt has studied with Agnes Moorhead, Theater Vanguard, and the L.A. Repertory Theater. No stranger to The Lion in Winter, Patt previously won the Best Actress Award from the Los Angeles Adult Drama Association for her portrayal of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Patt and her husband Dick reside in Washoe Valley, where they raise Arabian horses.
Jess Glen, making his Reno Little Theater debut with this production, was most recently seen on stage at The Actory in Getting Away With Murder. By day, he is a personal trainer at the YMCA. Jess has an interest in ancient weaponry (he provided the sword used in the show), but has decided that chain mail, even when made of aluminum, is not all it's cracked up to be.
Evan Humphreys arrived in Reno this summer, from parts unknown, with strange stories and big plans to ski a lot on his days off from engineering. He is glad to return to the stage after fifteen years, during which time his only acting was in a sporadic role as a responsible adult. Evan thanks his wife Kelly for suggesting that he audition, and then helping him practice being called a "stinker".
Michael J. Higdon is an attorney who just recently moved to Reno after a six-year stay in Las Vegas. A native of South Carolina, Michael appeared in numerous shows there, including Lost in Yonkers, The Mousetrap, and A Few Good Men. This production will mark Michael's Reno theatrical debut.
Jami McDonald has been active in the Reno theater community for three years now, and she loves it. She has done television and independent film work, but theater is her fist love. You've seen her on stage at Reno Little Theater, Gothic North, and TMCC. Among her favorite shows are 6 Women with Brain Death, Sing On! and Working; this production is sure to be added to the list. Jami thanks all her friends and you, the audience, for the wonderful support.
Troy Harsh Although a lifelong resident of Reno, this production is Troy's debut performance with Reno Little Theater. When not treading the boards in tights, Troy is active in community service.
